Project: Brand Identity & Web Design
Role: Visual Designer
MOVA Made is a social media management startup founded by two best friends with a mission to help small businesses grow online. They had the passion and the name — but needed a clear brand identity.
I was brought in to create their visual direction from scratch, including logo design, brand tone, and a homepage concept that reflected who they are and what they stand for.
MOVA was just getting started and still figuring out what services they wanted to offer. They didn’t have a clear vision or strategy, so before designing anything, I had to help shape their direction.
I researched competitors and industry trends to define a look and voice that felt fun, warm, and professional — but not corporate or dull. The goal was to create something that felt confident and full of personality.
Research & Brand Direction: I explored what other agencies were doing and helped define MOVA’s tone: approachable, creative, and reliable.
Logo Design & Identity: I hit a creative block with early concepts (I was fixated on using a flower), but with the help of my mentor, I stepped back, explored new ideas, and landed on a clean, bold logo that truly represented the brand.
Style Guide & Homepage: I created a style guide with colors, typography, and patterns, then applied it to a homepage design to see how the system worked in context.

This project challenged me not just creatively, but personally. I went through a period of design fatigue and had to learn how to let go of ideas I was attached to, even when it was hard.
It taught me patience, trust in the process, and how to move forward when things feel stuck. I also grew more confident in guiding a brand from the ground up, even when the vision was unclear at first. What started as uncertainty became a brand with heart, and I’m proud to have helped shape it.
